Sunday
Last night I was honored as Grand Marshall for LSU’s Homecoming Game in Baton Rouge. For as long as I can remember, LSU football games have been a big part of my family’s weekend tradition.
LSU Chancellor Sean O’Keefe with me before the pre-game presenation last night.
Tiger stadium is also known as Death Valley and holds 92,000 people. Since I will not be able to travel back home for Thanksgiving in a few weeks, I will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my family today. Thankfully, the turkey is not locked in the oven like last year. You may remember last Thanksgiving at my house from my journal entry (you can still read it in the blog archives to the right)
